I am in private practice in Westport, Connecticut, of counsel to the firm of Freshman & McGlynn. I work with couples and individuals who are going through divorce. I also provide training and consulting services for divorce professionals (attorneys, mental health professionals and financial professionals).

I am a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. I am the author of The Friendly Divorce Guidebook for Connecticut, 2nd Edition (Law First Publishing, 2003) and (as co-author) of The Divorce Practice Handbook: Skills and Strategies for the Family Lawyer (Michie, 1994). I contributed chapters to two CT Bar Association books, CT Lawyers’ Deskbook Third Edition and Mediation Practice Book. I am the past Presidentand founding member of the Connecticut Council for Divorce Mediation and a founding member of the Collaborative Divorce Attorneys of Fairfield County.
In 1996 I received the American Bar Association Family Law Section’s Chairmen’s Cup for meritorious service to the Section, including service as chairwoman of the Publications Development Board since 1993 and as a faculty member at the Family Law Advocacy Institute since from 1987 to 1993.
I received my undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Maryland in 1972, my JD from the University of Denver College of Law in 1976 and a Master Degree in Liberal Arts form the University of Denver in 1987.
